Mario Kart XP is a fangame, that is, a game created by the followers of a certain game as a tribute or homage.
In this case, Mario Kart fans have adapted the game to the controls and screens of a PC. In Mario Kart XP you can drive karts with Mario, Luigi, Bowser or Yoshi on board. The races are divided into different categories 50cc, 100cc and 150cc on stages and circuits that emulate the originals and are very well achieved. Also during the races you can go capturing objects that will help you to gain speed, more points or harm your rivals. You know... in this kind of racing, anything goes.
The bad thing about fangames is that they often have some lack of programming, in this case the controls are somewhat fair but the fans of these characters surely like it anyway.
